Assistant Professor Tenure Track
in Social and Cultural Geography


We seek innovative applicants with a strong and developing record in research to enrich our expertise in social and cultural geography. Applicants with a strong interest in global socio-spatial inequalities, marginalization and exclusion are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will combine a proven track record in critical social and cultural theories, experience in fieldwork and expertise in qualitative research methods.

The successful applicant is expected to lead an independent research group, to build up an innovative research program and to actively develop teaching profile in human geography at the bachelor and master levels. Moreover, the successful applicant is expected to acquire external research funding.
